“c.h.r.o.m.a” is a women’s Ready to Wear line inspired by vivid color and playful
prints. This fun and eccentric line, c.h.r.o.m.a, features fashion forward silhouettes
complete with creative style-lines, textured fabric, and print blocking. Designed
for the woman who lets color portray her essence; “c.h.r.o.m.a” is there to be her
spectrum.
What is the inspiration for your upcoming collection?
Nature truly captivated me when I moved back to Louisiana. I would normally go through the day without appreciating nature, but there was something different about the colorful clouds and sunsets that I could not ignore. It was breathtaking.
Tell us about your goals for your line over the next 5 years and how you hope to accomplish them.
After entering The Pin Show and debuting “c.h.r.o.m.a” I really pray that the momentum of my inspiration continues. My creativity is constantly flowing. I am currently expanding my brand and I am constantly looking for ways to get my brand noticed. 2014 is all about exposure for my line and myself. I’m looking to eventually make “c.h.r.o.m.a” a household name. In five years I hope to be in some boutiques over the South region of the U.S and also a few major retailers. While living in Louisiana is leaving me a little pressed for fashion opportunity I am not giving up on the industry all over the South. I will take it by storm!

Goddess
Simple and sublime, a step above smart and chic. She walks into the room
and even in her simplicity amongst very elegantly clad women, her aura
goes before her and lightens the room she's in. You can't help but notice
her, graceful, human yet ethereal, luminous and detailed style. From ages,
her characteristic beauty has echoed from mouths, even from babes unborn.
Yes, she's goddess!
DESCRIPTION OF COLLECTION.
Our goddess is dressed in sheer fabrics, tied and dyed by highly skilled
indigenous artisans found only in the interiors of Western Nigeria. The
end product is a unique exotic fabric called Adire’ made in free flowing
gowns, drapes and halter necklines. The use of natural colors, blended
with delicate blends of chattily, and macramé lace once again gives a
whole new freshness to what afro chic is all about.
OUR GOAL FOR THE LINE IN THE NEXT 5 YEARS.

ThrIII
ThrIII is fun, sexy, and comfortable underwear and lounge-wear designed for real men. Available in sizes M-3XL thrIII strives to bring a body positive attitude to menswear and a confidence to every wearer. The inspiration for this line comes from the sensuality and toughness that each man has within him.
What is the inspiration for your upcoming collection?
The inspiration for this collection comes from my club-kid days of the early 90’s living in a Spiceworld of excess. These designs are expanding on the dichotomy that was at the center of my being during that time – the want to live in excess and the need to exist in reality. I stretch to capture this hardcore mentality with a fresh comfort and strength.
Tell us about your goals for your line over the next 5 years and how you hope to accomplish them.
Over the next 5 years, the main goal is to create a cult following of loyal customers who will act as brand ambassadors, turning thrIII into a lifestyle brand. Our planning and positioning will have a huge social awareness and social media presence.

Coco Franco
What is the inspiration for your upcoming collection?
My inspiration came from "Dia de los muertos" which means "Day of the dead". It represents the love ones, the ones that will be remembered forever. My designs embrace how women want to be seen and how they want to be remembered every moment, every day and every year ,so they will not to be forgotten. Each dress embraces how special the women is. In addition,it's all about honoring and embracing the female curves and the elegance that women personify every day of their life. I worked with lines, forms of the human body such as the human skeleton. Also, I have incorporated different kind of fabrics such as; black leather, silk and organza. The colors that I have used are: black which represents dead when celebrating " Dia de los muertos ", the white color represents angels from haven, the brown color represents the dirt from our cemetery. No one would like to be forgotten so Coco Franco line is trying to stay forever in the women s mine.
Tell us about your goals for your line over the next 5 years and how you hope to accomplish them.
Since I was 18 years old, I have always wanted to open my own clothing boutique where I could sell my own line but I wanted to open it in Mexico City ,but since been in the U.S.A , Dallas has become the first City that I would love for this to happen. I want to stay based here and still become a household name in the fashion industry.I would like to open a boutique in Dallas where women would try my clothing and it will make them feel confident and beautiful. I would keep working with women one-on-one on a custom dress for that special occasion the same I am doing now at my studio. I hope to gain more media exposure and obtain more clients. With my current collection, I hope to produce pieces on a larger scale and start selling my line in more local boutiques, hopefully this year.

Marek + Richard
Marek+Richard is brand that offers funky fresh, casual knitwear designs for men that include undergarments, tanks and t-shirts. The individual collections within the line are inspired by popular trends in menswear, modern art, and popular culture. Marek+Richard products are designed and produced locally in a commitment to revitalizing American made manufacturing in the Dallas area.
What is the inspiration for your upcoming collection?
My inspiration for the upcoming collection definitely will come from the fiery excitement I get from seeing my line on the runway again!
Tell us about your goals for your line over the next 5 years and how you hope to accomplish them.
In the next five years we would love to see Marek+Richard recognized on a national and international level as an emerging “American Made” label in the men's underwear/active wear category. As we continue to grow the brand in retail locations nationwide, we hope to expand the brand by participating in local events, growing social media avenues, broadening our product assortment and finding innovative sourcing techniques.
Marek+Richard also plans to create new revenue streams by broadening our product assortments. We plan to introduce screen-printed merchandise in Spring 2013 and we are fully confident that in 2014 Marek+Richard will branch out into woven and knit swim-wear. This will not only benefit our current accounts, but will also allow us to expand into more specialty swimwear boutiques.
Hard work and the combination of these processes will ultimately allow Marek+Richard to reach these lofty aspirations in the next five years.

LHP
LHP is a well-balanced brand taking fashion to the edge, meanwhile still appealing to mainstream fashion. LHP puts its own flare into the current fashion trends, and in some cases, creating them. LHP is all about expression.
What is the inspiration for your upcoming collection?
I was mostly inspired by men’s business attire. I used traditional, classic fabrics, but I still wanted to show variety. I believe it’s a nice blend because I held the true spirit of the classic fabrics, while showing off stylistic qualities.
Tell us about your goals for your line over the next 5 years and how you hope to accomplish them.
I would love to start selling to the public, currently I only sell privately. I am currently researching local manufacturing.

Embracing her role as vintage clothing seamstress feeds her practice of shaping timeless silhouettes.
What is the inspiration for your upcoming collection?
Inspiration for this collection came from asking myself: What would a modern day Katherine Hepburn wear at her beach house? What do I want to wear everyday during summer in Dallas? And what are the most sumptuous and comfortable fabrics to make those clothes in?
Tell us about your goals for your line over the next 5 years and how you hope to accomplish them.
I'm currently growing my custom clothing business by focusing on helping women expand their wardrobes strategically with made to measure clothes that are instant wardrobe staples. All of my designs seen in the PIN show are available for custom order, made to your own measurements and preferences. In the coming year I'll be connecting with local boutiques to offer limited runs of particular items that will be available off the rack. I'd love to work directly with particular boutiques to collaborate limited runs that appeal to their specific clientele and to offer more trunk shows.

Yomono
Yomono stands for unwavering commitment to sustainable fashion and social responsibility. All pieces are handmade in Dallas, TX using materials that are organic, vintage, recycled, or low-impact. Inspired by past decades and future endeavors, Yomono believes that understanding where we've been will guide us where we want to go.
What is the inspiration for your upcoming collection?
For my FW13 collection, I imagined a steam age adventurer meets space age sophisticate. I built on things I love: cover buttons, heavy canvas, harnesses, and bow ties. Classic workwear details get a sleek update with a touch of aggressive femininity. Boxy fits evolve into rounder shapes, with special attention paid to collars.
Tell us about your goals for your line over the next 5 years and how you hope to accomplish them.
Over the next 5 years, I plan to grow Yomono to the point that it can be my main source of income. To get to that point financially, I will increase my brand presence locally and on the web, and take on more custom orders. I have plans to teach a corset making class and will continue expanding my knowledge in the corsetry category.
My industry experience working with local cut-and-sew factories has made me fluent in price negotiations, quality control, and timeline enforcement. I’ve already started to grow my brand identity through frequently updating my blog, Facebook, Twitter, and Etsy store. I will continue to aggressively seek clients through word of mouth and pinpointed marketing at relevant local events, such as burlesque shows.

This One Woman
I create luxurious, collectible, one-of-a-kind and limited edition jewelry collections using various ancient beading techniques that combine a blend of passion, luxury and whimsy. All of my jewelry contains thousands of individual moments of handiwork by every tiny bead that is put in place, one-by-one, by me. Everything I create is a reflection of my soul with exquisite attention to detail, balance and contrast.
What is the inspiration for your upcoming collection?
The inspiration for my collection comes from my constant desire to do the unexpected. My upcoming line features free form shapes, unusual textures and everyday items that have been re-purposed from their original form. I shattered a living room mirror because I knew it would make an amazing statement piece. I really wanted this collection to be not only ornamental, but mini works of art.
Tell us about your goals for your line over the next 5 years and how you hope to accomplish them.
I hope to expand the visibility of my brand to the local market by participating in fashions shows such as The PIN Show and, hopefully, Dallas Fashion Week. I intend to continue working with individual clients because making a personal connection is so important to me, but I would like to partner with select local stores or boutiques and then strategically expand my brand further by branching out nationally and partnering with a designer fashion label.
Where can we find your line?
Most of my designs are on my website,.thisonewoman.com, or if you see me on the street I will more than likely be wearing something you can purchase on the spot!

My goal is to complete my BA degree within a year and half. Find an established designer who can take me under their wing so I can learn the business aspect of the industry. Build enough capital during the process so when it is time (2-3 years) start selling my clothes in boutiques and high end luxury retailers across the major US cities (NY, LA, TX, Chicago and ATL) as well as London and Paris. 5th year is to start a brick and mortar store in NY.
